This hotel is very good value for money and very central to everything. The staff were very helpful and accompanied me to the police station to report my stolen wallet which was taken out of my handbag while I was on the escalator in the h & m shop in the main street of Vienna. While I was at the police station another women was also reporting her wallet stolen from a shop in the main street - you need to be very careful when you visit this city.

The hotel is centrally located and close to historic sites. Rooms are nice but very small and packed with furniture.

Despite having a pre-paid reservation for several rooms they had a "mistake in the computer" and did not have the rooms we had booked and paid. We supposedly received a compensation for the situation, which turned out to be no more than a refund of the price difference between the rooms we had booked to those we got. Then they kept changing our room keys about 4 times without any explanation. It is advertised as including breakfast, which is served on a side of the front desk in the very small lobby between people checking in/out. Expensive for the type of hotel.

The key is its location, in the very heart of Vienna, but on a calm street, 30 meters from the main square. The staff is very friendly. The room was new, clean and light. Highly recommended!

The pension in comfortable, quite and centrally located. The breakfast is very nice and the staff very helpful and kind.

Excellent location close to the centre of Vienna. Very easy to get to the hotel from the central Train station by metro. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean and functional.

Unassuming entry, but magnificent place and great value, great location, helpful staff, easy access from airport with the train and subway. When return to Vienna will definitely stay at A &A.

Excellent in location in Vienna near museums.

The location was excellent, on a quiet street, close to most city attractions. The pension staff was nice and helpful and almost every request we had was fulfilled. The room was clean and nicely designed and had an air condition, which was rare and so important in hot summer time Vienna. If I ever come back to Vienna, I would definitely come back to pension a und a.

The breakfast lounge was right outside our door, which was a bit noisy sometimes.

Very good location,friendly staff, had our own suit at our disposal,with all the comforts of a good hotel.Will prefer to stay again.

In the late evenings there is no staff to assist you,you are by yourself.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and looked new and very well kept. The location of the pension is superb, beeing close to many of the atractions [ just few minutes walk]. The stuff was very helpful, the breakfast buffet was reach and very satisfying.

The abscence of a Loby ans Dining room. Eating in the room was not too comfortable [though not punishment..]

Unlike a hotel, the experience at the Pension was much more personal. Two days before my arrival, I received a personal email from the establishment, welcoming me and offering any assistance ahead of my arrival. I was able to confirm my travel arrangements to the Pension, as it was my first time in Vienna. The staff were very personable the whole time I was there, even offering me an umbrella to use on one of the days when it was raining. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very stylishly fitted out and furnished.

Not entirely the fault of the Pension, but on my first night, I could hear kids in one of the other rooms screaming. It lasted only less than a minute thankfully.

Excellent location, very nice people, answered all our questions by e- mail, very clean and modern appartment

Staff was very helpful, breakfast was good (especially croissants!), beds were comfortable and we slept really well. Central location and 24 hrs access to the room without ringing, knocking etc. makes it perfect for party-goers )

We had some problems with drainage system - sometimes it would just stop sucking water and we had to wait for 15-20 minutes till it turned on.

The location of this new pension is unbeatable and the staff is extremely helpful. The rooms are tastefully designed and have a huge bathroom. There could be noise from the street but the windows are being changed to be sound-proof. One thing which did not bother me but which could be an issue : you have to take your breakfast in your room as there is no breakfast room.
